If this camera technology comes to a well-priced (in other words, inexpensive) Windows Phone 8 device from Nokia, I really think that it could be s great buy. But something that costs a lot more than the Galaxy S3 while doing a lot less, and doing it a lot slower, just doesn't make sense at all.

Hi Ido, the otterbox would come under hard/ snap cases, because it is a very tough case. Yeh slider cases have been known to scratch your phone when putting on or taking off the case!

Yeah it is ok to put a skin on top.... BUT... the manufacturers should make their ui as an additional option to the stock one. So, the user can choose between the stock ui and the manufacturer's one depending upon user's choice.

What about cases like the otterbox defender? Which category do they belong to?
I have a 2 piece slider case from Skech. It protects my iPhone very well, but the case itself did get scratched quite a bit after a few accidental drops.

I haven't because I just don't think it is safe to store all your files up in the cloud. I would just buy a cheap hard drive and put it all on there :)

I really don't understand why anyone is on any Windows version above what their computer came! Every OS upgrade is 100$+! Microsoft should (again!) copy Apple and 'cheapen' their OSes

Actually, after checking thoroughly last night, I found that YouTube is redone. You can now see ALL channels you are subscribed to and ALL uploads by any given YouTuber.

This update was not a real update as Apple eventually admitted. They did this so no one would think it is 'dead', although they didn't do enough to prove it's not 'dead'. Next year, the Mac Pros will be upgraded. Apple even removed the 'New' tag on their website.

You are mistaken. SSDs are faster than Hard Disk Drives. The reason being: there are no moving components in a Solid State Drive. Hence "Solid State". The reason why they might not take precedence is because they are still more $ per GB than HDD are. Airs are fast and have a 10 second boot time because they use SSD. But then again, Airs max out form Apple at 256 GB while MacBook Pros max out at 750 GB.

You do have some very good points there, but I still think google will overtake Dropbox at some point in the near future. Don't forget that not everybody uses a cloud storage solution. There are still tons of people who have never used Dropbox or any other service like that, which is where I'm sure google will shine: getting new people in. They can advertise their product better than any other tech company, other than Apple. The brand, as I already mentioned, is well known, trusted and respected. This can play a huge role in google drive's success.

I don't think any of those are compelling reasons to say GDrive will beat Dropbox. I'm excited for it and will definitely be checking it out, but Dropbox already offers a powerful service. Dropbox has quickly made a name for itself in the cloud storage market and is arguably the most popular. It recently updated its' Android application so that any picture you take with your phone automatically gets uploaded and synced across your computers and there are numerous other applications which support it such as Airdropper, which allows others to send files straight to your desktop. It's definitely simple and elegant with an unobtrusive web interface and a desktop application which handles everything behind the scenes. Getting extra free space isn't hard either as they offer extra space for completing trivial tasks (like giving a shoutout on twitter, facebook, etc.)

That's not to say of course that other competitors shouldn't be worried. Google is flush with cash and they have the potential to be a game changer if they bring new, useful, and interesting features. If they're aiming to be just another cloud storage provider, (just as they did with wave, plus, etc.) I suspect they'll have a hard time convincing existing cloud users to make take them serious.

This is the superphone htc fans have been waiting for. It's super fast, slim, and is very well built, which has been what htc is most known for. If te price will go down just a little bit, I think we could even see millions of people around the world, carrying this phone.
